First, I wanted to thank everyone for the birthday wishes and I’m still working through replying to everyone individually!!! Also, HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to the screening at Club Bahia! The house was PACKED and our film The Break-Up Show got a GREAT response from the audience 😭😭😭 I feel so lucky because I got to spend my birthday weekend doing what I love thanks to the fantastic writer/producer/actor @staciegancaycoadlao and our director @tysonadlao !!!!! Thank you SO SO SO SO MUCH for letting me be a part of CHERRY PICKING! An incredible and hilarious short film about female sexuality and friendship featuring an ALL FEMALE CAST made up primarily of FILIPINAS!!!!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 I laughed so much in these last four days and I dream of working with hardworking, talented people like everyone on this set all the time. The cast was phenomenal and it was so refreshing to be around such a beautifully diverse group of Filipina women. I’m told too often that I’m not Filipino enough and our group shows what Filipino can look like🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽😭😭😭. Thank you for giving me a chance to play someone so much more confident, bold, and colorful than me because playing her changed my life. Thank you for the amazing words I got to speak, for hooking my character up with dope wardrobe AYYYYEEEE, for making me feel pretty, and for the yummy adobo, tondo tondo, and birthday cake! 😭😭😭 And thank you thank you thank you for giving me a chance to meet all the great people you had on your set. I love you guys!!!
