(The au tbh only starts to differentiate from canon around the time when Solar is supposed to die)
Now a quick summary of how and why but not with all details, that you'll have to ask yourself if you want to find out (Or if this gets popular to where I'd need to write it fully)
Why is Solar working with Ruin?:
To say the least Ruin told Solar what would happen if he'd die like Moon/Nexus going crazy and hurting the family (ofc, Ruin left out the detail of Solar dying and let him think that Moon/Nexus would just do that with particularly no reason while Sun just let him). At first, Solar didn't believe Ruin cuz that just sounded insane but once he showed him audio and video recordings of it from other dimensions his opinion quickly changed. And with not trusting the family anymore, Solar would side with Ruin.
How the hell is Solar not dead?:
considering Ruin went on with his genocide against the Creators this is a valid question.
Ruin after getting Solar on his side, he'd secretly (most likely while Solar was charging) change Solar's dimensional signature to the dimension they lived in. He couldn't let his own partner die, especially not when he's useful.
What's up with the cracks on Ruin?:
As some of you may noticed, Ruin has cracks. But that's not due to him having the virus or smth- no. In this au, the cracks are from times when Ruins personality/mood swung to a rather manic/aggressive extent to where he'd get into fights and other dangerous activities (he's physically stronger than tsams Ruin maybe even everybody in the au but he still very much gets scars and cracks)
Where do they "live" (since Sun and Moon/Nexus don't trust them in their house after everything)?:
They're very much still in the pizzaplex but they don't roam around the SuperStar Daycare. Ruin mainly stays in FazCade while Solar roams between FazCade and Parts and Service (since he's still a mechanic). Though they plan on getting an actual place to live in.
