Playlist: The Gamer's Woe (take it in any direction you want to go)
Alright so first thing that came to mind when I read this was Boss battles because boss battles can be a bitch; so some of my favourite/most memorable Ā themes from either my childhood or God knows when else:
1.) 02ā²s ThemeĀ From Kirby and the Crystal Shards (remix version though b/c it sounds better)
2.)Ā Tension Rising from Kingdom Hearts 2
3.) A Strange Reunion from Sly Cooper and The Thevius Racoonus
4.) VS Ansem from Kingdom Hearts 1
And finally, because while its not a song from a game, it is about a game and itās definitely one of the most intenseĀ āBoss musicā themeās Iāve ever heard:
5.) CascadeĀ from Homestuck Volume 8
Pretty much all of these are burned into my head in one way or another and they almost consistantly give me chills. The worst things to fight give you the best feeling when defeated right?
Thanks for asking btw!
But seriously, I hope you feel better soon!
ahh thank you so much! iām still a bit shaky after that gore, but iām fine besides that! iām not gonna let this stuff bother me.
When you play Splatoon, what do you use (ie: paintbrush, roller, etc.?)
ah, i gotta be honest! i only play through the story mode (which i havenāt finished yet because of some tv problems r i p). but also mostly because my anxiety makes me too nervous to play with other people ahhh ;;Ā
hmmm.... iām not quite sure what iād use if i did though!!Ā
What's the square root of french fries?
clearly the hasbrown
i know these things, i am scientist
next question!

FIGHT ME! for the meme
So what is Undertale exactly? I keep seeing all over my dash, and I am so confused?
Itās a new vaguely Earthbound-style RPG released on Steam for $10 like... a week or two ago? Very recent still! In a world where all the monsters live in the underground, youāre a human kid who falls into the underground and has to get out.
The main draw is the battle system. In combat, you can either do regular attacks and kill your enemies, or you can talk/communicate with them to convince them not to fight you. Who you kill/spare and whether you kill/spare everyone entirely will both influence the events of the story greatly. It also tends to remember minor decisions and choices later on in the game and even between save files.
The writing is top-notch. Iām sure the Genocide route is super serious and dark, but the Pacifist route has really consistently excellent humor. The characters are excellent, and more than one of them surprised me with their depth. The music is fantastic, I cannot stress that enough. Iāve heard almost all the songs in the soundtrack in-game by completing the Pacifist ending, but I want to see the context for the rest of them before I put the whole soundtrack on my iPod, so Iām caught between watching gameplay of the Genocide route and doing it myself, which would obviously take longer.
I could go on with more things I love about it. But I recommend it fiercely.
What papers are you working on anyway? I'm currently in study guide hell at the moment myself.
