My face when I get to escape Sacramentoโs 100ยฐ+ days : ๐๐. I wanted to test out my new @alderapparel hiking shorts & joggers, so running away to Tahoe(โs cooler weather) was the perfect excuse. After a day of hiking around North Lake Tahoe and then exploring Kingโs Beach, here are my initial thoughts on my Alder Apparel bottoms : ๐ฉณ ๐ง๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฒ ๐ ๐๐ถ๐ธ๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐ต๐ผ๐ฟ๐๐ ๐ฏ.๐ฌ The first test in any hiking bottoms I try is to see if my phone fits in the pockets lol. It did in both of these. Next! Theyโre water resistant and quick drying with 7 pockets, a detachable belt, and were a great length (not tight around my thighs). Only con for me was how high waisted they are, so since I have bigger obliques ๐ they felt a bit tight on the top. Overall : I like these and would definitely wear them again on shorter day hikes! Cute & Functional! ๐๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐ด๐ด๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ First thing I noticed was how soft they were. Sooo comfortable and breathable too. They have a stretchy pull-on waistband, sweat-wicking fabric, 6 pockets, and ankle zippers. No conโs so far though I probably wouldnโt wear these on hikes with thick brush or lots of rock scrambling since the material might tear during intense adventures. Overall : I am in love with these and want to live in them. If I could get 1 in every color I would.
