After being imprisoned in the Raft for crimes she wasn’t in control of, Daisy Johnson was pulled out and bent under the will of someone else. Under his influence and in the heat of her own anger, she tore her prison apart, seemingly killing hundreds of prisoners and S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, but even broken apart, a raft is still a raft. It still floats. It still carries passengers, and these passengers were the worst kind.
Like cockroaches, they survived on the different pieces of the Raft that didn’t sink for months. Luckily for them, their cells all opened in the destruction, letting them roam around and find food in the Raft’s split sections as it floated through the seas. There was enough food on the Raft to last for over a year when rationed properly, but criminals are a greedy bunch. Only so many months went by before their food became scarcer, and many of them managed to work together to get the pieces of the Raft to dry land.
The Raft has landed.
Now, they’re here.
On June 1st of 2019, the prisoners of the Raft breached the shores of New York, and set their destruction upon it. Some were angry and just needed to release their rage at their imprisonment. Others had gone insane from their mistreatment. There were some, a few prisoners, who didn’t seek to destroy the city and instead found their opportunity to seek revenge on certain people, redemption for their crimes, or the chance to fall back into the shadows. One group of prisoners even set their sights on destroying another prison: Arkham. Now, the insane prisoners of the Asylum are out along with the powered villains of the Raft, and New York will have Hell to pay.
