It Wasn't Goodbye Forever
Jack hated this part. The rift had spiked again and Tosh had taken enough readings to figure out that something had come through and that something was more of a someone. Most likely human. As he made his way to the site of the spike, he wondered if that person was going to be alright and he hated not knowing. He hated walking up to someone and finding them scared and broken and having to transport them to Flat Holm, knowing they would spend the rest of their life on that island. So close to home, yet so far. Sometimes though, they'd be alright, like the 3 people who had flown through from 1953. Well, physically alright at least.
Β He stopped the SUV and got out, searching for his person.
