Denver wasn't a far drive from Angelwoods, but it was far enough. She'd tapped at the steering wheel nervously the whole time. It wasn't because she feared what awaited her, not entirely, at least. She'd moved on with her life and she'd made a name for herself in a bigger city. She had friendly faces to look forward to, but she had a few people she could have gone a lifetime without every running into again. One of those people being someone who couldn't shy away from the spotlight even if she tried. Thankfully, Parker had found solace at the drink table, he boozy cup in hand. It helped calmed the nerves, but it wasn't nearly strong enough to settle the flutters that coursed through her body every time she scanned over the room looking for that one person she wasn't ready to see. "The punch is good. Would suggest a small pour at first, but it's good." She spoke a tone louder thanks to the blasting eighties jams that reminded her of just how young they weren't. "They realize we graduated fifteen years ago, right? Not thirty." It felt like a lifetime ago that she was wandering the campus with her head held high. Even longer since they'd won their first championship, all thanks to a picture perfect performance by one of the star players.
