48. Describe the greatest adventure of your lifeÂ
I was backpacking europe, and was in a club in Nice, France hilariously called "N'Ice Cube." I met this irish guy named Aiden, and we danced and made out a bit and then he asked me to "go somewhere." As we walked away from the door he turned to me and said “Where to? There’s probably a deserted alley somewhere?" I joked “I am not banging you in an alley!” not actually imagining that I was going to have sex with this guy. But he jerked his head towards me, surprised and excited and said “Well, I mean, if you’re going to have sex with me we can go to my hotel room.”The first thing I thought was: “Wow, he completely missed the gist of that joke. “ The second: “Wait. Am I going to have sex with this leprechaun?” I was honestly conflicted. On the one hand, I wanted to get losing my virginity over with already. On the other hand… leprechaun. But amped up on nerves and buzzed from vodka, I decided to do it.After an hour-long search for a condom (so romantic), we went up to his room. As soon as I walked in and saw that the wall behind his bed was covered in a giant, garish clown mural, I knew that whatever came next would not be the cool, sexy evening I’d been imagining. However, I did not foresee—and I don’t think I could ever have foreseen—just how comically bad the next two hours would be (yes, you read that right: two hours). I won’t relate the gory details, but I’ll give a couple snapshots which, a la Greek tragedy, will make you cringe with pity and fear.Snapshot one: As soon as he closes the door, he begins to silently take all his clothes off. I stand there awkwardly, and he gives me a questioning look before telling me I should probably take all my clothes off as well if this “was going to work.” Sexy.Snapshot two: He turned very red early on, and kept yelling at me throughout: “DO YOU LIKE THAT?” in a deep Irish Brogue. Very disconcerting. The answer was never actually yes.Snapshot three: His phone rang in the middle. He answered it.Snapshot four: I faked an orgasm hoping it would make him hurry up and finish. Instead it just led to me having to fake two more orgasms, leaving him with a very inflated sense of his sexual prowess.
50. What have you done that you’re most proud to have achieved?Â
I’ve survived.Â
