I'm going to be honest: I was a little sad when Trials of Apollo won my poll lol
#obviously I wanted Magnus Chase to win#I don't write a hundred thousand word prequel novel after reading an okay book#but I was also hoping the Kane Chronicles would come out on top#I haven't read the Kane Chronicles since I was eleven#and I don't remember much#but their fandom and supporters are still thriving after all of these years so it must be good#and Rick Riordan does do well with his trilogies#the heroes of olympus#I truly enjoyed the series and I read it when I was a teenager#wonderful storytelling#trials of apollo...#I read as an adult...#the writing...#when they needed to get back to camp...#and he danced with the bugs to fly them back to camp...#it just wasn't for me...#I am reading mcga again#and the writing is just more succint#I actually laugh out loud while reading#overall a fun time#thanks for participating in the poll if you did
