My headcanon explanation for JSAB's second chapter:
The Treeangle is an all-powerful object (which created the world of shapes itself, in fact) that the shapes mainly used to expand the land of Paradise, until one day, while Cube and the shapes were using the Treeangle's smaller pieces for their usual routine, an attempt to brighten up a lonely grey creature's day went horribly wrong when the Treeangle fragment accidentally ended up getting lodged in the poor creature's head, causing it to warp and mutate into the Blixer we know today.
Terrified of the sudden threat to their world, Cube rushed out with the shapes in tow, trying to warn everyone about the monster's rampage along the way, with one unlucky creature not heeding those warnings (and meeting the business end of Blixer's fists as a result)
Eventually, Cube managed to get the others to safety, and as they all watched Blixer continue to destroy their home, they agreed that they needed to stop him, and restore peace to their home once again.
