honestly i did that last gifset mostly for the 2nd gif. the way he stops, waits to see if she actually wants this, is ready to back away until she smiles and he knows she feels the same he does.... it gets me every time

i’ve just thought about jeremy being so smitten with christine’s sheer enthusiasm and passion in “i love play rehearsal” and about the two of them in vimh and how it’s this sort of quiet and tentative moment for them both b/c they’ve both been unsure of themselves during this whole show and like people so righteously point out, christine isn’t that wildly confident either and seems to keep to herself more outside the specific context of play rehearsal / someone who is encouraging her and like......christine telling jeremy she’d like to date him and it’s kind of shy but then she gets to see his reaction be that kind of ilpr level energetic joy where he can’t contain it and better yet doesn’t feel the need to contain it and can just throw himself into it like christine does when she’s that into stuff and the fact that they both laugh and that’s so vital it’s in the album recording.........anyways i thought about this and shed a real tear in like honestly five seconds. kindred spirits i really treasure them ugh it’s what they deserve
