All Patton ships are close to me because they literally have no choice but to pander to him. Unfortunately, for something to succeed the human does need to have their heart in it😞
Something Janus has realized quicker than any of the others. Interestingly enough.
Logan has also kinda realized it but refuses to accept he has to navigate Patton and would prefer Patton to be the one following his lead. But that's not how the heart works. He has to accept that he has to follow Patton's lead instead.
Roman wants Patton's validation because they do work hand in hand, but unfortunately doesn't know how to work with him. He sees Patton as the side Thomas has to become to be good.
Virgil knows Patton's worth but doesn't understand him.
Remus sees Patton as some goody two shoes and nice guy. They lack interaction so any in-depth view Remus has of Patton I haven't noticed yet. But Remus does seem to be quite soft towards Patton thinking about it now. Even complimenting him for trying despite his "creative liberties" in DWIT and is shocked that Patton was one of the problems. He also doesn't hold it against Patton for not knowing him in the Christmas episode. Remus does seem to show softness towards Patton. He also seems to view Patton similarly as Roman does but...is shockingly, less mean to Patton.
Janus made the worse mistake in the first SvS that likely made him realize he has to follow Patton's lead to get what he wants. And it does work as we've seen in the recent episodes. Despite the others still on the edge about him, he has been given a seat because Patton trusts him now. Janus is the closest to understanding Patton (despite moceit not being my main ship... I understand why this one exploded into popularity. I come from when the fandom loved logicality second to prinxiety).
