What is presented here is a practice which will open the inner reaches of the Satanist’s subconscious mind and provide a method which quite often allows the Initiate to take a short cut around what could be weeks of training within Visualization and Meditation techniques. This is not to say that the Satanic Practitioner should not pursue such training and application of these techniques, the Practitioner should always seek to hone their psychic and visualization abilities . . . what I am proposing here that the practice of Transcending The Inner Gate will give the Satanic Initiate the chance to enter into Practical Satanic Workings sooner rather than later, allowing them to continue developing their Ritual Practices and the honing of their mental abilities simultaneously. The Practitioner should sit, kneel or lie in a position suited to them and drift into a mild meditative state, the mind should be willfully cleared of any mundane thoughts and allowed to drift into the dark spaces of the subconscious. Allow the body to become disregarded by the mind that all physical sensations drift away within the dark sea of infinite calm that you now find yourself drifting upon. You are within an abyssian infinity . . . drifting through dark spheres which lie between worlds and you are aware of the sensation of being drawn forth deeper and deeper into the void of darkness. The pull of that darkness is one of smooth transition, there is no resistance to it, you willingly drift further into the infinite stygian spheres . . . you are aware that you are journeying into your own subconscious, into the depths of that part of the mind that is unexplored and not yet understood and yet at the same time the journey seems to be an outward one as if the subconscious levels of your mind extended beyond itself, beyond your recognized spiritual and physical boundaries. As you continue you become aware that ahead of you there is a upright rectangle of darkness which stands out even against the stygian black vista around you, you feel drawn to it, it is almost as if it beckons you on the deepest of levels, your inner spirit seems to gravitate to it as if it was some form of spiritual magnet. The thought enters your mind that this is a doorway of sorts, some kind of gateway within the surrounding darkness and the pull you have been feeling has been this doorway all along, even before it came into sight . . . with this knowledge you move more quickly toward it and around you in the impenetrable darkness you catch sight of darker shapes moving about you,  to quick to shadowy to formulate what they might be. You find yourself before this darkened rectangle, the motion has ceased you float without any sensation before it and now notice a robed hooded figure standing at the threshold of this doorway, despite the darkness beyond it the figure seems to be seen with unusual clarity. Tall, garbed in a black hooded robe, its pale skeletal white left hand beckoning you to cross the threshold of this doorway, its features hidden beneath the heavy hood are veiled but you sense that deep hollow set eyes behold you from its vantage point. Somewhere within your mind you know this figure to be the Demon Agaliarept, GateKeeper of the abyssian realms, Sentinel of the Gates of Hell, Initiatory Guide of the Infernal Isolate Path . . . you are filled with a sense of knowing that this is an opportunity that shall not befall you again, there is desire within you so strong to move forward through the gateway before you, an inner knowing that knowledge that you seek resides in the darkness beyond it. Again you feel the pull, again you sense the motion of moving forward effortlessly nearer to the doorway and then you see the robed figure stand aside as you pass through its opening. Then there is darkness . . . complete and utter darkness although you can still sense that there are unseen beings abroad within that darkness. You are within the Realm of Communion . . . the sphere between worlds where the spirit leaving the mortal form may journey and gain Communion with the Demonic Beings . . . you have journeyed to the outer regions of Hell and the gateways to the Infernal are now open to you!

The Inner Gate is the first of the Threefold Gates of Hell already discussed in Text 4 of this Manuscript, it is the Gate of the subconscious and it is the first Gate that the Satanic Initiate will learn of and utilize as it is a function used at the beginning of Satanic Rituals and Operations within the texts of The Black Book. In view of this it is important at this now to examine the opening of this Inner Gate as that is a practice which will form part of the Opening Rite of this Manuscript titled 'Forging The Realm Of Union' . . . it is a practice which is formed from visualization and deep meditation within the self. Before relaying this practice it must be said that most people struggle with visualization because they try too hard ~ it is not a hard process to learn . . . it is quite simply the merging of imagination, memory and will combined. The Initiate should relax into a state of Meditation (utilize whatever form of meditation technique you prefer) let you body become unimportant but instead of letting the inner self drift outward, let it drift inward . . . visualize yourself journey back into yourself, into the subconscious of your own mind, feel yourself drawn inward on a journey inside ones own mind. You are journeying further and further into an inner darkness, impenetrable infinite darkness and yet as the sojourn continues you feel aware of other beings around you on this journey, shadowy forms that can be made out against the stygian darkness of the inner mind. You can sense their presence as if they are escorting and watching you as you move closer to an unseen destination. Eventually ahead of you in the endless darkness you perceive that which looks like a doorway, darker than the pitch black canvas which surrounds it . . . some form of portal within the stygian reaches of the subconscious, a Gateway leading to even deeper realms of the mind. You are drawn to it with a desire and a need which is all consuming, it grows ever closer, you are lost inside yourself, drifting, drowning within the depths of your subconscious. You pass through the doorway and sink into the unknown of the inner dominion of your mind, that dominion as yet unexplored or understood . . . in fact misunderstood as it exists within and without the self, a sphere of meeting and merging where the subconscious mind morphs with the subconscious mind of Satan, of creation . . . the very heart of the Abyss where the powers of reality and fantasy have and boundaries do not exist. You have passed the Inner Gate into the outer regions of your own subconscious and the Demonic Subconscious which is the outer spheres of Hell!
