Cupping her cheek, the General began stroking away her tears with a thumb. Oh.. he truly had her trust now. She wouldn't fly away. "I've had a hunch, though I wasn't quite certain how to approach it either. And... earlier, when you admitted it to me- I knew I had to say something. I'm glad I did. I'm so happy you told me, love." It feels like she's gradually melting under his touch, her vision blurring into a dream like state. "I was so scared that you'd... that you'd find it amusing and make fun of me, so I hid... and... maybe it's foolish of me to fall for you... but I can't- stop loving you. It's breathtaking, it's amazing and it's... so lovely." She sighs, leaning into his hand. "You've been good to me, Caleb. Let me be good to you back." He swiftly took her face with both his hands, looking her dead in the eyes. Caleb stared into them for a long moment, assessing her before his gaze softened, and he released a slow, calm breath. "Then be good to me, love. Be good to me."
