I have to say that Nic Hawk's performance of Robin Thicke's song "Blurred Lines" on The Voice was truly awful beyond words. I can't believe that Blake, Adam, Cee Lo and Christina thought that Nic's performance was worthy of all the praise that they gave it. Personally, I think that "Blurred Lines" is a really great song, and I hate that Nic completely murdered it with his singing.

One of the reasons why I've never watched American Idol or The X Factor is because I always felt like Simon Cowell was unnecessarily cruel to the contestants on both shows. That being said, I can't believe I'm saying this, but where is Simon Cowell when you truly need him? I would have loved to see Simon critique Nic's performance. His performance was truly awful, and I would give anything to be able to forget it. Unfortunately, there are some things that you can't just "unhear", and sadly this is one of them. I pray to God that Nic Hawk will be eliminated this week. Anyway, that's just my two cents on the subject.
