Over 200 years ago, twin girls were born to a well-off Scottish family in Perth. To avoid accidentally invoking them, I will avoid names and simply call them R and C.

R was the older twin, but the crueler one too. She didn’t have very many friends as most of her peers thought she was insane (the two murder attempts on C didn’t help), but in her entire short life, she made one friend. I shit you not, his name was Michael. Because it’s always a Michael.

R and C’s parents liked C a lot better. They had no sons, so one of the daughters would inherit the family’s fortune, and due to R’s tendency towards murder, the choice as to who would inherit it seemed clear.

R was locked away by her parents, though I can’t recall when or for how long, wallowing in her hatred. When she stepped outside for the first time after being released, at eight years old, she claims that the sun burned her alive. 

With newly strengthened hate in her heart and burns on her white nightgown and small form, her spirit became one of vengeance against something that she cannot kill. So instead, she embraced the fire and set a house ablaze in 2018, killing the mother who summoned C’s ghost and the daughter, W, who would later seek to protect R’s next potential victims.
