I can see why the Decameron got cancelled after one season and it's not the most well paced TV series, but there are some fantastic moments in it and it is an hilarious show! Moments I loved!
Any moment between Filomena and Misia
The character of Misia played by Saoirse Monica-Jackson.
Misia and Sirisco's up and down relationship
Filomena and Liscica's relationship.
I loved Tanya Reynolds as Licisca!
Pampinea VS Ruggerio!
amar at the beach
What's the nastiest read you've seen someone give?
In Pampinea's defense, every royal in that villa is like her. All of them are pompous and self centred, rude and arrogant, and they all have partners and or are married. She has been raised in a rich family. All her family and friends treat ppl like shit. So Pampinea is no different than Filomena, but Ruggerio would never have spoken to Filo like that, bc she's attractive. I was sorry to see Ruggerio go though, I hoped that he would have escaped!
My favorite The Decameron (2024) poster
It's so funny where the editor placed the rats, even one on top of somebody's hair.

Riddle me this... how is it that every so-called friend of mine I have attempted to impart the glorious heart-wrenching gift of netflix's The Decameron onto has failed me so greatly? HOW HAS NO ONE SEEN THIS SHOW. send help. i can only watch panfilo and neifile's relationship by myself so many times-
Certainly The Decameron represents a departure, in many important ways, from Pasolini's films of the 1960's. Pasolini insisted that this film reflected a new vitality. A carnivalesque celebration of what he called: The joy of living and making love. I think it's fair to say that The Decameron is Pasolini's most playful film, reflecting a turning point in his career, although the film is certainly not without elements of the tragic dimensions that had characterized his earlier films. —Patrick Rumble, author of Allegories of Contamination: Pier Paolo Pasolini's Trilogy of Life
