Bob Pollard makes music under about 15 different band names. Here's just about everything you need to know about his most recent record filed under anything other than the Guided By Voice's moniker:
Atmospheric and often downright silly, Squeeze the Needle, 2023's 4th and final Pollard record, finds Bob channeling Jim Morrison's midwest dipsh%t cousin, Elvis and the Beastie Boys (if they returned to their Budweiser era at age 65).
In other words, the album is ridiculous fun. Just check Bob out as makes his, and his mouse's, needs explicit.
Go get yourself that mongoose Bob. The rest of us are busy enjoying your wacky record.
