Humans were irritating. If it wasn’t together with their penchant for killing and trying to destroy that of which they did not understand; it was also for being drawn to her certain allure that she had as being part Siren. And ever since she had step foot into this town she had a multitude of individuals approaching her; ever curious about their new resident who seemed to be alluring yet unattainable. A sharp exhale escaped her lips as she finally had found an undisclosed place where she could perhaps find her solace of peace away from the busybodies of this town; whilst being able to read up on the latest medical discoveries in the field of biochemical engineering. However as she began to flip through the article upon her laptop, she noticed a certain individual that seemed to have been watching her ever since she had step foot into the establishment, and it began to grate upon her nerves.

“Can I help you?” 

It was rather amusing to hear these very words from a human — one that was naive in the ways of the world, having not witnessed the same terrors that she had, together with experiencing the horrors that humanity themselves possessed. It was why she had given a derisive snort at the thought of the minute human being able to have glimpsed her past; the countless sins she had committed, together with the truths that had never escaped her lips. “Darling that’s what you think.” She replied, a small smirk arising upon her lips as she shrugged before finally stating, “But you’d not last the night if you knew even just one.”
