The shop he worked in was small - most of their customers were regulars that came back with the spring season, looking for new plants to add to their gardens. Others came to seek help in getting their gardens cleaned up to plant again. Fitz didn’t have the best memory, and sometimes it took him a while to remember the name of each and every one of the people that stopped by his place of employment, but he was fairly certain this guy was unfamiliar.
New people made him the most nervous, because he didn’t know what to expect, but that sentiment didn’t make it to his expression... well, not beyond the ever-present flicker of anxiety and vague dread that always lurked in his features. They weren’t even inside yet; he’d stepped out to bring some of the larger potted plants indoors, and had nearly collided with this guy on the way back. Fitz still gave the other a polite smile, would have offered a hand to shake if his arms weren’t full of potted perennials.
“Hello! Sorry, um... can, ca-an I help you find anything?”
