Can I just say I went quiet because I had some issues with Tonhon Chonlatee and I didn’t have a lot of energy to keep up with it. But one thing I absolutely love in this show is the moments where there’s a discussion about LGBTQ+ struggle and defence for right treatment . Many scenes showcase the seriousness of homophobia and the pain it causes to the community. I remember praising the scene when we see Ton’s struggle for the first time; the scene his father goes on the podium and makes fun of the two ladyboys and people laughed but it felt uncomfortable and painful. Those kind of scenes are so powerful in a show that is always full of jokes and more. This episode 8 in general we see conversations about Tons mindset, we see the gravity of the situation as he gets outed and it was taken seriously and talked about, we see the guilt Chon feels just for being in love with him and making him choose him, it sucks. We see more as well when two people proceed to beat up a couple and call them slurs and Ton defends them because he sees what attitudes like his father’s mindset and actions and his previously did, how it affected his friends and how it affected his love. He realised how much his words probably made them feel.

I don’t know if I can handle another episode of this... this whole ep was a struggle

yeah it’s just incredibly disappointing as u can imagine going from actually well-made shows with good representation, plot, and characters such as i told sunset about you or gaya sa pelikula, and then to thch

like.....it’s 2020. these plotlines could have passed years ago but come on man this just shouldnt fly anymore; shouldn’t even make a pitch meeting. it isn’t funny and it’s really unfortunate bc with the other shows its like 5 steps forward but thch and other similar regressive-thinking shows are 50 steps back.
