âAnna was irresponsible. She agreed to marry a man she barely knew. Then she left that man in charge of a kingdom while she ran off to find the Queen that abandoned the kingdom just so she could have a tantrum up on a mountain.â He lays his head against the dungeonâs wall, unwilling to tug against chains that had no chance of breaking.
âYou ask me why? Because you two made it so easy.â It had actually taken him by complete surprise! Within mere hours of knowing both sisters, he had been left in charge of Arendelle. Just like that, his dreams of ruling over his own kingdom had been closer to reality than they had ever been.
âYou turned your back on your people, Elsa, and so did your sister. If that wasnât enough, you were the cause of the suffering of those who had to survive your eternal winter. Who was there to help your people deal with the consequences of your actions? You? Anna? No, it was me.â And yet somehow he was the one in the wrong for wishing to put an end to the spell Elsa had cast over the land? He had given her the chance to end it herself, but she had claimed that she couldnât.
What choice had he been left with?
âNow youâre both back and allowed to rule again without needing to face repercussions? Tell me, how is that fair? And what if it happens again? You losing control of your powers? Will you desert your kingdom again? Cause its ruin?â Or would she once again leave it in the hands of her naive and childish sister who clearly had no idea how to properly govern? The world was a cruel place; a fact Hans had learned when he was a boy, but to allow these two the power to rule?
That was both cruel and unjust to the people of Arendelle.
