I feel your pain I really wanna talk about Gorillaz stuff with people but I have no such people I can talk to ;A; Especially about the storyline, it’s sooo goood!

Felt the need to answer these tags for thatonekid95 ~

Yeah this is canon about 2D showing the song to Murdoc you can see here a track by track description of the song from Plastic Beach by Murdoc

And about their relationship during plastic Beach, I agree that is was a huge shift (one point being that before that is was always 2D pestering Murdoc and then it was Murdoc who became the one trying to keep 2D, even kidnapping him when he wanted nothing to do with him anymore)  But I really doubt it was all bad, I’m pretty sure that sometimes they had pleasant conversations, played stupid games and watched movies like the ‘good old times’ . 2D does hate Murdoc at this point, I’m sure, but the poor boy’s mind is so messed up and Murdoc did use to be his hero and that’s a hard thing to forget so I’m pretty sure he sometimes wants to forgive him, maybe even out of pity if he sees him in a very bad state (And by the looks of the Do Ya Thing video, he does) 

Murdoc was completely losing his mind at that point though so I’m absolutely sure he had huge mood swings and was really, really bad when he was wasted.  (I have a really long and deep ‘analysis’ on Murdoc’s mental state during Plastic Beach but I won’t bore you with that) 

Anyway, I imagine these two being kind of glued together, even if they want to never see the other again, somehow they always end up coming back and that has been proven many times until now.

The story is generally really really dark around Plastic Beach and I think everybody hates everybody for some reason and they have all these negative emotions built up and they’re all fucked up mentally and its just a downward spiral into insanity and that makes me love this part of the story so much because I love fucked up, complicated things

14: Talk about a vacation.

One ive been on? ive never been overseas which i would like to do once in my life at least, but nelson was really beautiful to visit. there was a gorgeous cathedral that made me shaky feeling when i looked up at the ceiling it was just too beautiful to handle

18: Talk about something that happened in elementary school.

i was such a brat in primary school but i always ended up having balls hit me in the head so i dunno maybe i was pissed about that. but there was this huge slanted concrete path that led to the field and one time i was walking by it at the top of the hill and of course a ball went bonk! on the side of my head and i went toppling down the hill. it was definitely one of the most terrifying things to happen in my life.

some asshole was creeping on my friend and stalking her and we were watching our school playing rugby with another school and he comes along and tries to get her alone with him and she didnt look happy so i walloped him with my umbrella and we ran away before the teachers got there

Right? I’ve been thinking about this lately. Like, I don’t think I’m as active (if I ever was super active) in the fandom as I was but I still have a love for it. But it seems like more people are kinda losing interest or just not on here as much. :/

Don’t lose faith dear, we’re still a family, even if some of us have branched out to other things, it just allows us to bring back more to the fandom when we do return. -hugs-
