I think the scar can def add some really good content into the story so I agree that it should at least be an option
What about opinions on the other stuff i said? Like, the choice I mentioned, if it’s going to decide that, is the option too subtle it won’t convey such a significant difference? For references, here’s the section at the beginning of chapter one that makes it definitely sound like there’s not a scar
I’ll have to do some rewriting either way if the scar’s going to be a thing, by choice or not. Should I just make the scar a thing by default and take out that choice all together? I’m mostly weary because it’ll take even more rewriting to do that when I don’t currently have ideas on what to say (I’m a big chunk ahead of this part in my writing, so my mind’s more in a ‘interaction with James’ mode than where it was when I wrote that part)
