If you go see the new Snow White and you hit the parts where the movie starts mocking Snow White (really, the original 37 version of the character) for baking pies, remember that in the original 37 film, she was baking pies for her new friends who had shown her the first ounce of kindness that she has experienced in probably ten plus years. She was baking pies so they would let her stay and she wouldn't be murdered (and I think they would've let her stay regardless). She baked pies out of kindness and survival, for her friends, not because she was a weak girly-girl who couldn't do anything for herself, you assholes.
