So yeah, I totally f’ed up in the whole write a blog about Europe thing. Whoops. However, I do have a funny story for you (even though it makes me cry quite a bit.)

So, I get this job back in March, in which I let them know about my trip. They approve the time off and are genuinely excited for me to explore Europe for the first time in my life.  I work for them for over a month, they wish me a great family vacation and then 5 minutes into my first day back after vacation, THEY FIRE ME. Like let’s have a meeting in the private office, don’t gift your strategically thought out souvenirs to the office, SOMEBODY NEW IS ALREADY SITTING AT MY DESK- level shit. It was real bad. However, I am choosing to take this shit supreme situation and turn my focus onto writing projects (working on scripts never stop and I’ve been meaning to do this blog since forever ago.).

Hence, I am making lemonade, figuratively and literally. I don’t care if it’s cheesy or seems unoriginal (#thanksBeyonce) but lemonade is delicious and now that it’s summer in NYC (aka swamp ass season) nothing tastes better than a glass of cold lemonade. And it’s got a lot more flavor and zero white sugar, so it’s also sort of healthy, but not on purpose.

CHERRY PINEAPPLE LEMONADE

1 cup frozen pitted cherries

1 cup frozen pineapple chunks

1 lemon, peel removed

1 cup cold water

1 liter of club soda/sparkling water
