3. if you could learn a new skill, what would it be? I want to learn Russian (I don’t know why)

5. what was your favourite book as a child? I read so much when I was younger, there is no fave

7. if you could be a mythical creature, which one would you be? Mermaid
8. paper or electronic books? paper, definitely
9. what is your favourite item of clothing? It changes depending on the season.
10. do you like your name? would you like to change it? I did not like my name at all when I was a kid. No one could pronounce it or spell it, which considering how simple it is completely baffles me. I still don’t like spelling it for people, but it’s a family name, so I’ve grown into it, I guess.
11. who is a mentor to you? my mother before she died
12. would you like to be famous? if so, what for? I have wanted to be a published author since I was twelve, but I’ve never wanted to be famous
13. are you a restless sleeper? I don’t think so
14. do you consider yourself to be a romantic person? Hopelessly

16. who do you want to be closer to? my family
17. do you miss someone at the moment? My mother. I miss the way we used to talk
18. tell us about an early childhood memory. Being stuck on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere with my parents and older sister on the way to my grandmother’s house. I was three.
19. what is the strangest thing you have eaten? I can’t think of anything. It’s all pretty normal.
20. what are you most thankful for? My family even though I wish we were closer

22. have you ever met someone famous? No.
23. do you keep a diary or journal? I’ve written journals and diaries before, but as I’ve gotten older, I’ve mostly forgotten it

25. what is your star sign? Leo
26. do you like your cereal crunchy or soggy? Crunchy. Please. Soggy cereal is gross.
27. what would you want your legacy to be? That I was a good person who did the right things when it mattered, and as someone who people can depend on when it counted.
28. do you like reading? what was the last book you read? I love reading, but I also write, and recently, the book-reading has taken a back seat to my writing. Iron Gold by Pierce Brown - I’m only half through it.
29. how do you show someone you love them? I do things they need me to do without them asking me to do them. I love to cook, so I’d probably cook the favorite dish - if that was possible.
30. do you like ice in your drinks? I do, but only when it’s required, like with tea or soda. Otherwise, if it’s already cold, then no.
31. what are you afraid of? being alone
32. what is your favourite scent? Sandalwood
33. do you address older people by their name or surname? If I’m familiar with them, I usually use their given name. If it’s formal, then I use their last name or family name.
34. if money was not a factor, how would you live your life? In a loft or an apartment where it’s just me and my cats. I’d love to travel and be able to publish my stories.
35. do you prefer swimming in pools or the ocean? pool
36. what would you do if you found $50 on the ground? Just laying there? I’d take it. If I saw whoever dropped it, I’d hand it back to them.
37. have you ever seen a shooting star? did you make a wish? Yes and yes.
38. what is one thing you would want to teach your children? To never doubt yourself and to stay positive.
39. if you had to have one tattoo, what would it be and where would you get it? Well, I have three tattoos, and the one I always wanted was a butterfly that I already have. But one I really want is the word triskaidekaphobia - it’s a fear of the number 13, which happens to be my birthday.
40. what can you hear now? My air conditioner and Moana.
41. where do you feel the safest? My bed in a cool room where I’m comfortable.
42. what is one thing you want to overcome/conquer? My inability to speak up to people I’m afraid of disappointing.
43. if you could travel back to any era, what would it be? Do I have to go back? I want to go forward. The future has to be better than this.
44. what is your most used emoji? Thumbs up, so people know I got their message (and to say I understand)

46. what do you regret the most? Trusting the wrong people at the wrong time in my life.
