âMany have asked me, what makes you so different from a monster. What gives you the right, to do what you do. While I cannot give an answer to either of these questions. I can tell you this. I kill those who I want death. I punish those, who deserve it in my eyes. And I lead, those, who I find worthy to lead. Many will not disagree and even more will call me a monster because of this. But tell me.. Isnât that what this world needs now?â
Illethiann stood upon the higher edge of the highest building within the estate. Overlooking his household with a stern look. Reiâann was in bed. She was tired, even when she didnât want to admit it. But then again, who can blame her. Leading a Household, working within the Spire and making sure their daughter had the best care she could ever have.. And then the constant struggle to admit sheâs nervous to how their son would do outside the borders of QuelâThalas. Many saw his wife as this cold Sinâdorei, who lacked every bit of emotion a normal being would have. But as her husband, he knew different. She loved her people, her family, more than words could describe. She wasnât cold or heartless, but filled with warmth and passion. Always striving the give the best of herself to them. Illethiann smiled at the thought of both of them sleeping, only briefly, before his stern look return to the thought of the accusations and blames Sylvarys had gotten during his trail. He knew that, inside Sylvarys was slowly falling apart. Slowly dying because of the curse that was growing from within. It was one thing to die for a good cause and people understanding this. But itâs another thing to get accused for murder, to get called a monster and got spit on when all you do is the right thing. Slowly Reiâann approached behind him, Taryane close in her hands as she joined his gaze over their estate. He doesnât know why, but even without scrying, without the school of divination, she always knew what troubled him, what made him angry or sad. And she didnât have to say anything, as she knew he only needed her by his side.
âDo you think heâs ready? Ready to finally rest? I doubt it.. He never was one to leave something unfinished. Even when he was just a child he wouldnât go to bed, until his tasks were finished. I remember his saying, like it was yesterday. -Why do something tomorrow, when today is here.-â
Illethiann took in a deep breath as he looked towards Reiâann. She slowly looked back at him and give him a nod.
Illethiann: âDo you think our son is ready to lead our house?â Reiâann: âHeâs as ready as you think he is, My Lord.â
Illethiann smiled, as he slowly took a letter with the crest of The Firestar from under his belt and teleported it towards the right destination.
Illethiann: âI never was one, to leave my duty behind. But today is the day our son is Lord Firestar, Leader of the Firestar estate.â
Slowly Reiâann placed her head briefly against Illethiann his shoulder, before they slowly walked back towards their room. Enjoying the night together.

Sylvarys appeared infront of Thaelârin, Vellidan and Varoâedis. A rare display as the four elven males donât have much in common. Except the fact they all care for one person, Taryane. Sylvarys, unable to hold up his illusion due to the sickness taking over in him, peers with his sick stare towards the three of them. His scars on his face, now fel tainted and green, blood leaving his nostrils and a green, fel-tainted goo leaving his mouth as he coughs. Thaelârin couldnât help but take a step closer towards Sylvarys. Straight away trying to help him, as it is his duty to make sure a Lord of his House is safe.
Sylv: âDonât bother, Sunstrike. Iâm fine.â Thaelârin frowned. âMy Lord, with all due respect, you do not look well.â Vellidan shakes his head as he peers between both elves. âHe means you look like -shit-.â
Varoâedis couldnât help but snort at Vellidan his savage use of words, only to awaken an angry stare into the eyes of Thaelârin.Â
Sylv: âHeâs right, Sunstrike. I do look like a mess. But that is not why weâre here. I asked for this.. meeting to discuss the safety of Taryane. As you may notice.. I am unable to be her guardian any longer. I would taint her, destroy her. And that, I cannot allow.â
Vellidan lowered his gaze. While he and Sylvarys have had their past. He knew that each word Sylvarys has said here, right now, was nothing but the truth. He cared for his daughter, more than a loved one could. Vellidan could almost say he cared as much for their daughter, as both He and Narindiel did. Sadness took over in Vellidan his body for but a split second, before he snarled and looked up.
Vel: âThen what do you suggest.â Sylvarys looked from Varoâedis, towards Thaelârin. âThat one of them does it.â Varoâedis spat on the ground, before slowly turning around and walking away. âSheâs nothing for me.â
The three elves watched him leave, but none had the intention to stop him. Both Sylvarys and Vellidan understood he still had a tale left to tell, but that tale wasnât this one, at least, not at this point in time. Both Vellidan and Sylvarys looked towards Thaelârin. Who slowly shakes his head.
Thael: âI have not seen her in months. You canât expect me to show up and be her guardian. Sheâd think sheâs not strong enough to look for herself. We all know sheâs strong and wise. We all know that because of this she needs a guardian. But could she ever understand this?â
Vellidan looked towards Thaelârin with a strong, cold look. âNo.â
The word that left Vellidan his lips were cold and piercing. If words could cut, they would have cut, this one would have sliced both Sylvarys and Thaelârin their ears off. Thaelârin swallowed, his posture still that of a respected elf as he nodded once.
Sylv: âSo be it, you will take over my role, Sunstrike.â
Thaelârin frowned, âI didnât agree with this.â
Vel: âYou did. Your increase of your heartbeat did the moment Sylvarys brought Taryane her name in the conversation.â
Thaelârin frowned even harder, but then lower his head for a split second, giving the elf a simple nod.
Thael: âBy your command then, Lord Sunglance.â
