So here’s a bit of a fun fact.
I played the Silksong demo at PAX AUS back in 2019. They allowed us a little run around at the Deep Docks area, checking out the new area and some new moves.
They also allowed us one boss battle and a few Tries at defeating the boss before the demo was over. I didn’t get past, of course, and accepted I’d have to wait until the game’s release for my next attempt.

my wallet died today
It’s really funny to me that as a teenager in school I had little to no interest in reading comprehension or literary analysis, I just read the assigned text and took it all at face value and never really engaged beyond that because ‘ugh, these characters aren’t from something I like. why do we gotta get metaphors out of everything?’
And now I really enjoy diving into a text and going ‘okay so which things were intended, and which things have I interpreted from a deep psychological bias of mine?’
an English major I am not, but maybe another twenty odd years from high school I woulda eaten Shakespeare up with a spoon.

Me: No no, but he IS a Resonant, which is an manufactured version of the Echo - which I should point out you would have known if you hadn't kept skipping the Stormblood MSQ cutscenes - Mom: (Having absolutely no idea what either of us are saying) I love this. : )
