So, I wrote about 3,000 words today. I participated in NaNoWriMo in November and won by writing 50,000 words. I told myself I would give myself three days to rest and revisit The Girl With The Bionic Arm on Monday. However, life happened so I hadn’t writing anything for 13 days! But today, I finally kicked myself out of the house and wrote at Starbucks for about 3 hours.

As soon as I got there, I put my headphones on and turned music on, set my phone as far away from as possible and wrote. I got in the zone and was able to get to a place where I knew how the end of the book was going to look like. I think some of the reason I procrastinate for so long was because I was still a little unsure how I was going to get from point A to point C. After I fixed that, the words just started flowing. I like where the ending is going and excited to write the climax now.

Hello! I am here to announce that I'm currently writing a book titled, The Girl With The Bionic Arm. This novel has been in the works for sometime. It all started by looking at a picture on Tumblr. It truly inspired me to write this novel.

The Girl With The Bionic Arm, is a Young Adult/Dystopian book about a teenage boy whose life has been turned upside down when his sister gives him a USB Drive with the instructions to give it to the girl with the bionic arm. Outside of the Tri-Towers, or the Ground Level, is known to be where the people who are banished from the Tri-Towers go to die. But when he gets down  there he learns that not everything is as it seems. There he meets, Scraps, KIA, Code, Mama D, Ajax, and the girl with the bionic arm. He learns that names are power down on the Ground Level, so everyone goes by a nickname. While on the Ground Level he learns that the Tri-Towers is not the trustworthy place to live like he was taught. It’s up to him and his new friends to set things right and hopefully save his sister in the process.

While I am here I want to to share my experiences with you about writing, The Girl With The Bionic Arm, books I love/currently reading, and the woes of publishing.

I am excited to go on this journey and final do something I’ve wanted to do since I was young.
