Lyrason still very cool
I already said this but I think JLB finished them in tgg and was just making it clearer that they were—one, really attached, and two, accepted by everyone—so they didn’t have much of an arc. But I likeddd them stilllll they were so normal and casual

I didn’t mind it too much she had no influence to the plot she died in like five pages

Okay first let me ask what you think of the mcs arcs : rohan, gigi and lyra
Okayyysssss okayy!!
Rohan- omg the story this guy had, like the improvement was crazy. He went from being my least favorite pov to one of the tops, and he really was just the spotlight of the book, him and Savannah. I liked it a lot how in this book, Rohan seems to develop a sense of self rather than being someone else’s image. Also, he doesn’t lose his actual personality, like he’s still so selfish, which I loveee. It didn’t “fix” him and turn him into a hero, it just made us see him in a different way.
Gigi- Sighhhhh, I was kind of disappointed with how JLB did this, because Gigi had a lot of potential in this book, and some of it was used, a lot of it wasn’t. JLB basically just solidified that Gigi will never be the main person, and she’ll always be there to assist. In Gigi’s pov we see her say that she’ll be happy to just “assist everyone because that’s her strength”, so I didn’t like that at all. JLB did Gigi’s story very bad, but hey still my favorite character and she was still very nice in this book. Also she’s finally learning to let out emotion which is good. She went to the shooting range with Mattias soooooo…
Lyra- for Lyra there’s not much to say because yk I feel like JLB finished her arc in tgg and was just wrapping up some small stuff in tgb. I liked her convo with her father fake father fake fake father uncle person yk? Like she had some good moments but it wasn’t anything specialll but again just like Gigi it wasn’t bad it just wasn’t special like Rohan’s

Okay soooo basically I don’t want this to be too long but like
I feel like it could be better, but it wasn’t bad. So I gave it like an 8.5/10 because it was still a good book I liked it, and I went into it with like zero judgement and no spoilers, which is what I think the mistake is a lot of people made. A lot of the people already made a judgement before they read the book so it was kind of like saying “guilty until proven innocent” and that’s why they might not have liked it. But I liked it, though some parts made me want to close the book, the next chapter would make me want to keep reading. She also kept trolling for example with the Hannah thing like saying Hannah is alive and then we find out she isn’t, that type of stuff. So it was kind of push and pull but it was a good book, I liked it, but it could’ve been better. Sooooo again 8.5/10
