Neuron's suit consisted of a tan button-up shirt that had what the tailor had a called a Mandarin Collar, and a long, orange formal jacket with a blue and green design running down the right of the jacket. His pants were solid blue, and fitted to blouse around a new pair of brown formal boots. The hairstylist he visted in New York had traded him some orange and blue beads to decorate his hair with.
Ariel had picked up a faded blue button-up shirt and a thin midnight blue scarf to know into a tie. Her jacket was a solid sky blue, cut at the elbows to show her forearms and arm cuffs. She also had a headscarf with a blue and green pattern, hoping to stay incognito until they reached their meeting - the burnt-to-the-scalp look was too recognizable.
"This is the first time I've ever dressed up like this," Ariel admitted. "Can you tell?"
"Not at all," Neuron said.
"I wanted to wear earrings, but couldn't find any clip-ons," Ariel added.
Felix had the simplest outfit - a black jacket, a blue button-up underneath, and gray pants. He had to ask Neuron to help him tie his tie - a gray tie, with the New York skyline done in blue.
RJ's outfit was mostly red, of course - a red button-up with gold designs and large wooden buttons, and the same type of collar as Neuron's shirt. Her jacket was black with red designs - roses.
The gold designs on her shirt were also roses, Neuron realized. It was a motif that fit RJ - red, pretty, and willing to protect herself.
She was the last one to get fully dressed, spending a good ten minutes getting her hair styled into an elaborate updo. Lian had lent her some hair pins, gold with red gems, that she stuck in once her hair was already styled up.
