And the last thing I saw before she disappeared into the depths of the ocean filled me with ice-cold shock… I could have sworn I saw a giant tail where her legs should have been. But surely I was just in shock… right?

I love my babies. <3 I actually need to go back and edit what I’ve written so far (the over 8k words I’ve written so far) because I need to show their relationship together before shit... happens.

Though Advent Day has passed for several months now, Cloud still struggles to believe the lessons he learned that day. About having faith in himself, and not running away, and believing that, just maybe, sins really could be forgiven. Thankfully or unthankfully, depending on your perspective on divine intervention, the planet seems to have a little something in mind for him. A second chance…to live in a world where the stars may never fall.
