Driving in the car with my dear friend and fellow derpasaurus, we begin talking about a show I can't remember right now. Me: "That character reminds me of Q." (Silence) Me: "From Star Trek. Do you know who I mean?" Friend: "YES OF COURSE I KNOW WHO YOU MEAN. Please. I know way more about Star Trek than you." (All the sass in the world is used there) Me: "Yeah, possibly. I've watched TOS, TNG, and the new movies. Where did you get to?" Friend: "...That's actually right where I am. Ok. We're about equal." (I proceed cracking up, followed by smirking at my friend. Silliness ensues.)

I want to do the yoga. The downside is the intro class is during work hours, and I have never yoga'd, so I need the intro class. The possible upside is the yoga place is one of our tenants in the same building as our office. So maybe boss and I will close shop for an hour every morning to do all the yoga.

Hey, in a totally-just-curious-not-confrontational way, do you mind sharing your reasoning behind disliking Slytherin!Sherlock?
Not at all! And before I start, I would just like to specify that I'm not mad at anybody who prefers Slytherin!Sherlock or Hufflepuff!John... I just can't get on board with them personally. And I'm saying that as a proud Slytherin gal, myself.
When I look at Sherlock, I see a man who loves the puzzle for its own sake, for the intellectual challenge, as a test for his own knowledge and skills. He has passionately devoted himself to an intellectual pursuit that piqued his interests, to the exclusion of all else. Which is not to say that I don't think he exhibits any traditional Slytherin traits at all, because he clearly does. I just think that on the most basic level, his Ravenclaw-ness trumps.
Mycroft, on the other hand, I headcanon as completely Slytherin, there is just no other way to go for me on that one.
Anyway, I hope I have explained my position clearly! <3
