Me: Think about it. If a voice actor from a show you liked got traded to a show you can't fucking stand in exchange for a terrible voice actor BUT THE SLIM CHANCE to discover a brand new, BETTER voice actor in like five seasons, you'd be PISSED.

Finn/Clarke

who steals french fries off the other’s plate: Clarke does it without thinking but she also picks up the tab half the time so it’s chill.

who jokingly moves in for the kiss when someone asks if they’re a couple: Neither of them. Too much history.

who has to bust or bail the other out of jail: As much as I want it to be Finn bailing out Clarke, I think we all know it’d be a whole herd of them getting bailed out by Raven and maybe Miller.

who gives the other advice/comfort about dating issues: Finn tries very hard. Clarke just accepts that no one in her life has functional adult relationships and decides to get Tinder.

who shamelessly cheats at games by reaching over to cover the other’s eyes: Clarke. Finn believes in the honesty of the game and plus last time he cheated on something, it didn’t work out well.

who immediately calls dibs on the top bunk: Finn because he likes to be high. And then he proceeds to make that joke and Clarke slugs him.

who starts and who wins the pillow fights: Look, Clarke doesn’t start pillow fights, but she will finish them.

who says “your pants would look better on their floor” to the other’s potential crush: Both of them use this for each other...to Raven. Raven’s just like “I need new friends”

Bell/O

who steals french fries off the other’s plate: Octavia. But sometimes Bellamy eats the last of the ice cream, under the explanation of “I raised you, I earned this”

who jokingly moves in for the kiss when someone asks if they’re a couple: OH MY GOD NEITHER. I do feel like they have a drinking game about it though.

who has to bust or bail the other out of jail: Bellamy will only do it the next morning after the arrest because he thinks it’ll teach her something. And anyway, that’s how O meets Indra.

who gives the other advice/comfort about dating issues: Octavia “stop moping and kiss her oh my god you dumbo” Blake gives unwarranted advice. Bellamy is good at comfort, which is a dartboard with ex’s faces, a bottle of tequila, and the Casino Night episode of The Office.

who shamelessly cheats at games by reaching over to cover the other’s eyes: Oh man both of them. Most of the rest of the gang, save Clarke (who is also a total cheater) and Jasper (who is ridiculously good at video games), refuse to play with them unless it’s a special occasion.

who immediately calls dibs on the top bunk: O. 

who starts and who wins the pillow fights: It’s a tie for both. The worst incident is the Great Hangover of 2015, in which the pillow fight is called a truce after both retreat to the bathroom and the kitchen sink to barf.

If you had asked Yang, when she was seventeen and bitter, with a heart that had been cracked open and leaked anger, what her life would be ten years later, she never would have been able to imagine that it would be something like this. 

This being: a tiny apartment, with just enough room for both of them. There was a balcony where blake grew plants, from little pink flowers to baskets overflowing with succulents. Blake took care of them every evening, and when she couldn’t she called a neighbor kid to do it for her. Every wall in the house was painted a different color. The kitchen was red, black, white, and yellow, in honor of her old team, but every room after that had been decided by a random turn of the color wheel. Blake had told her that it would look awful and it did, mostly, but Yang loved it anyway, because it was like she was leaving a mark. Blake got to pick out all the furniture, which was all secondhand and plus, with the odd stain and questionable comfort, but it was good enough. The place was bright and tiny and theirs, and Yang loved it so much that these days the travel lust didn’t seem to hit her quite as hard. 

This being: the tv on low, so that Yang could talk on the phone to Ruby, who’s off somewhere with Weiss on some great new adventure. The reception was bad but even through all the warbled sound waves, Ruby’s voice was as bright as ever. She would be back in a month. Weiss sent her love. Yang would see her soon. 

This being: Blake’s head on her lap. Throughout Yang’s favorite tv show, and the phone call with Ruby, Yang had been running her fingers through Blake’s hair. Blake didn’t purr, exactly, (”You’re purrfect anyway,” Yang had said, when she had asked and Blake had told her that of course she didn’t purr. Blake had just huffed, but she’d been trying to hide a smile. Yang could tell.) but she had been quiet and content, even as she’d been reading her book. Now, though, Blake was asleep, novel on her face. Yang hung up the phone and removed the thirty-first volume of the Ninjas Love series from Blake’s grasp. There were faint letters on Blake’s face from the ink, and Yang was so fond in that moment that she didn’t feel like she could contain it. 

This being: When Yang leaned down to kiss Blake’s forehead, Blake’s eyes fluttering open. “Did you save my page?” she asked, after bringing one of her hands up to wrap around Yang’s neck. Her grip was loose, her fingers cold. “Yes,” Yang told her, and watched as Blake smiled. “Good,” she said, and lifted her head. Yang met her halfway without a second thought, and their lips met.
