this sport is cruel and dangerous. we are swinging around a ball of moderate heft and mass about a metal pole, combined with the rattiest rope you've ever seen to give you mad rope burn
there appears to be a certain age where they stop giving children tetherballs. probably because the school board realizes how barbaric tetherball is
"yeah let's just wrap this ball around a stick" what are we saying guys
you can buy a tetherball set at target for upwards of $80 so the small child you're taking care of can experience the innate joys of getting half your baby teeth knocked out because Nathan doesn't know what "Don't Grab" means
if you're an adult and you play tetherball i do not trust you
