A walks in to see B restrained rather heavily and C checking a stop watch
A: C, what is going on here!? Why is B all tied up!?
B turns to A with a cheery smile
B: it's all good, A! We're testing the extent of my powers and seeing how long it takes for me to break out of various restraints!
A: what!?
C: it's good practice, if we ever get caught by a supervillain it'll be good to know how much B can take. You should've seen them- remember the rising water tank trap? B busted out in 26.5 seconds!
A: ...you put B in a rising- what!?
B: start the timer, C!
C holds up the stop watch
C: three, two, one, go!
B starts to struggle a little, but makes short work of the restraints. Chains and rope go flying everywhere
A just sighs, shakes their head, and leaves the room, while the cheers of B and C can be heard behind them
(Sorry if this isn't super whumpy, originally I had this idea with how long B could withstand knockout gas to try to build up a tolerance to it, but I wanted to fit the theme)
This is perfectly whumpy. I love it.
