As said in the pictures, six jeepney drivers were arrested yesterday, among them is a 72 year old man. They held a staged protest because they were "hungry" and they were not allowed to resume their jobs as jeepney drivers even in lockdown (or GCQ/ general community quarantine.) They also have not received any cash assistance from the government throughout the entire lockdown. They were arrested because apparently they weren't following the social distancing rules but they clearly were not breaking the rules. They maintained social distancing and wore face masks. We ask for your help to donate to fund their bail fund or if you cannot, spread the news to help. My last post did well and i hope we can get some donors and help on this issue. Thank you :).
