This costume is an excellent example of why appropriate undergarments are essential in helping to shape and create a costume's look.   Originally seen on Terri Garber as Ashton Main Huntoon in the 1986 production of 𝘕𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘩, this gown went on to appear in the 2017 third season of 𝘈𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘥, on Riki Lindhome as Beatrice Bellacourt. However, a notable change is apparent, as the gown is seen without a hoop skirt or corset, resulting in a visible gap between the bodice and skirt, altering its overall appearance.   Learn more at Bit.ly/VicEd266    

Ricarde of Hollywood created this lovely cameo brooch in 1939 for 𝑮𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝑾𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑾𝒊𝒏𝒅, where Vivien Leigh wore it as Scarlett O’Hara.   The brooch was used again years later in 1986 in 𝑵𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒉 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉: 𝑩𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝑻𝒘𝒐 on Terri Garber as Ashton Main Huntoon.   The brooch was also re-created to be sold to the public and was advertised widely in women’s magazines.
