it itself isn't a mod, rather it's a model that was made using the custom player models mod!
as for if i'll be releasing the model itself...maybe? there's a have a laundry list of things i'd like to improve on it before then ^^

Hello !! Your plane sona minecraft model is crazy good !!! i'm currently also trying to learn cpm and do some cute models for me and my gf... is there any good tutorials or ressources you'd recommend for that ? and would you be okay explaining how you used blockbench with it ?
THANKS!!! and uhh! I didn't use any tutorials per say, but I did reference a cpm model with a "similar" body shape, and being able to look at that really helped me figure out how i should do all my rigging and stuff. The CPM discord has a lot of resources *and* a free models channel, so my advice is to check that out and see if someone's done something similar! download their file and pick it apart, see how it works
blockbench has a CPM extension, but it does have limitations. I love blockbench for texturing in particular but if you can get away with not using it i would! Otherwise you might encounter jank when you convert

I saw your posts on the Minecraft dragon stuff which is super awesome!!!! I wanted to ask what mods did all that involve and what's the template you keep talking about from "the cpm" server? I kinda wanna try this myself for species euphoria reasons

In order to play as this model, you will require Customizable Player Mod (CPM). The mod dev has an official discord for it, where you can find free resources / models. My dragon model is a heavily edited version of a free model by PiedPipeCleaner!
The editor is built into MC itself, so there's no need to install anything else. I prefer Blockbench when it comes to making my textures though, so I used the CPM conversion plugin! There are some minor things to watch out for if you do this; for example blockbench supports size integers up to 0.001, but CPM only supports them up to 0.1.
CPM is a cosmetic only mod; you can't fly as the dragon without elytra, just like in vanilla. Your hitbox and camera height doesn't change either, so I use pehkui to modify them. My settings for that are hitbox_height 1.3, hitbox_width 1.1, eye_height 1.3. These scales will still allow you to crouch through doors!
