Three species of sea serpents, each adapted to varying degrees to life in the frigid oceans of the north. The great bowhead and the fathomstreak are the only sea serpents that spend their whole lives in arctic waters, while the sunglint racer only does so half a year before migrating south for breeding. The colorful streaks on the two smaller species appear only on the males during mating season, after which they fade away. Besides that, both sexes are hard to tell apart.

The plains bullhawk is a medium sized wyvern that inhabits open plains and scrubby grasslands. While preferring to hunt alone, they've been observed occasionally cooperating to take down larger prey. Like many other wyvern species, moor runners have learned how to tame and train them; they're popular amongst beast wranglers for their spirited personalities and sturdy builds, which makes them great for hunting large game and fending off knife tooth drakes. Males and females look near identical, save for the bigger bulk of females and the green streak on the nasal crest and tail of males. They are not domesticated nor bred as extensively as milk wyverns or pygmy wyverns, as such, there's only one alternative color morph, that being the moonstone morph, which is a mutation that affects the production of yellow pigments.
