Business at Sinema was booming...As always. Although it was hard to tell what percentage of people were here to dance the night away and get drunk, and what other people were here for some more...Insidious business deals. Regardless? It’s adding to the semi-immortal man’s wealth...So he wasn’t going to complain. He was just going to keep his happy mouth shut and accept the cash. Like he almost always does. 

But hey...In his defense, he’s not a hypocrite. And it would be awfully hypocritical of him to condemn someone for partaking in crime and such in order to improve their own lives when he’s built his own doing the same for multiple milleniums. River’s eyes danced across the bar as he made his way behind the counter, he carefully kept an eye out for any police or people looking like trouble...And not the profitable kind of trouble that River usually had in the company here. With a sigh, the villain continued working for the night. 

A few hours later, River was sighing for a better reason. It was time for him to get off work. The man was briskly closing and out the door, making sure to lock the club up before he made his way down the street. River’s eyebrow tilted up, however, when he came across a rather interesting scene. A few drunks stumbling around in an alleyway...Practically asking to get killed. And it has been awhile since River ‘fed’. 

“Why not have a quick bite?” River asked himself with a chuckle as he made his way towards the alley after the drunks, pulling a sai out from his jacket pocket as he quietly stalked his prey.
