I'm so glad you enjoyed it. And you have no IDEA how excited/nervous I am about posting the interlude letters on Sunday (I really hope you like those as well).

Oh, I sorta remember them. I watched, I think a season and some change from that show when my interest lost all its steam.

But I do remember those generals having chemistry.

Yeah, OK.

I might have to see if it's worth going back to this show at some point.

26. What is your favorite part about writing?

Being able to read it afterwards. Though only straight afterwards, and then a long time later afterwards.

A day after I'm done with it, and at least for the next few months I'll likely hate it if I try to read it (though reading aloud helps).

But I also love writing inside the emotional space parts of the story. They always come way easier than the dialogue and the plot.

Also. Writing is really fun when I'm in the zone. When the scene keeps developing and you just have to keep up with it (way less fun when you get a bit stuck trying to figure out what's supposed to happen next).

But it's weird. Because writing is hard... but sometimes I just really need to write something and it almost feels like getting a fix of caffeine. I honestly can't describe it. It's like... I miss writing when I haven't done it in a while, but it's both really hard and yet weirdly satisfying whenever I actually go back to it.

I guess I like that feeling?

27. What is a question that you never get asked about your fics that you really want to answer?

I have... no idea. Nothing specific. But I guess I do love it when people ask me a question in the comment of a fic at all... if for no other reason than that I then have something to ramble about in the reply instead of trying to repackage a thank you in a new way (and I always mean the thank you, I just always feel like I'm throwing out a bunch pre-recorded messages, it's the main reason I so often get stuck freezing on doing replies to comments).

32. Out of all your fics, what is your favorite title?

tattletale (snitches get stitches from laughing too hard)

5 ⧽. is there a certain kind of fic that feels the most satisfying to finish? any reason why?

A longer one.

Also, strangely, I especially like getting to the end of the sort of fics that have more in them than just the romance stuff. I know I mostly seem to write short stuff for my OTPs, and they're FUN, don't get me wrong, but any time I add something deeper to it, like actual plot or some kind of emotional depth that's about the characters dealing with their insecurities or their trauma or something like that, then getting to the end just feels... kind of cathartic.

But those are also the harder ones to finish and the ones more likely to stay as WIPs that will torture me into eternity.

10 ⧽. what genre is generally the easiest or most enjoyable for you to write? which is the hardest?

Easiest is probably humor pushed together with something else, whether it be humor and angst, or humor and fluff. Also. A look into the characters' heads during particular scenes, because that lets me use canon dialogue even if I end up expanding on it later (dialogue is one of the things that I find the hardest to do).

There's not really a genre I find particularly HARD to do, I don't think. The thing that trips me up more is plot and juggling more than two characters at a time (this is why so much of even those stories that do have more characters is me putting everyone on rotation: She's Come Undone and Set Free is an example of that. There's Elena and Rebekah. Elena and Elijah. Elena and Caroline. Elena and Bonnie. Bonnie and Rebekah. Caroline and Klaus. etc. But very rarely in that fic is everyone together and talking in groups, because it just gets very complicated for me).

I guess Gen fics are hard? Because I can't just immediately fall back on pining? But I do still enjoy writing them when I actually have ideas for them.

1 ⧽. if you could sit down and finish any one of your wips without anything stopping you (time, tiredness, etc), which fic would you choose? tell us about it if you want!

Probably Morai's Call To Hope. It's my time traveling Anakin fic where he's like three days away from his Fall when he gets pulled into the future straight in time to save Ahsoka from Vader, has to face being VERY CLOSE to being Vader, finds out about Padme, and Palpatine, and the Jedi. Meanwhile Ahsoka goes from learning her brother became a monster to watching his younger self appear out of thin air.

The POV keeps switching between Ahsoka, Anakin and Rex and I loved writing that fic, I had the whole thing planned out. But I got distracted by She's Come Undone and now it's been so long since I watched the Clone Wars and Rebels that I'm not sure I'd remember how to write it.

But yeah. I still think about picking it up again.

2 ⧽. if you could sit down and finish any completely new fic without anything stopping you (time, tiredness, etc), what would you write? tell us about it if you want!

I don't know. I'm currently in a bit of a slump on new ideas (I always am after finishing something slightly longer, which I actually have very recently, and what usually helps is getting to read people's comments on that... unfortunately I wrote this thing for a thing so I can't post it for like a month and a half longer, so that doesn't help).

Also I actually recently started two more WIPs so it's probably better if I DON'T start coming up with a plot for something new right now.
