ok now i’m thinking about them again and i feel like their arc of “initially hating each other -> understanding each other to a point where they’re actually really good roommates and close friends who make an effort to take care of each other” was super well done. because looking at them now you can just tell none of that initial animosity is left. both of them had such bad social skills starting out since they were both from backgrounds that created trust issues, but in the end ended up being one of those relationships where both are so similar (in that they’re stubborn and blunt and hotheaded) they’re the only one who can understand and handle the other.

with this roommate set it makes me think of how they hated the idea of being roommates at first but now they’re showing each other off so proudly… they are so each other’s biggest supporters with tenma physically taking care of yuki when he overworks and yuki doing his best to find ways to support tenma as he pursues his dreams; which often ends up being in an emotional capacity because tenma is REALLY not used to having someone emotionally supportive with him

The Mankai Company had another movie night, and this time they watched a horror film.

Tenma is having a very hard time calming down enough to sleep, to say the least.  Which, of course, he had to go and make Yuki's problem (and they shared the bed) (oh my god they shared the bed)

This rich and purple-eyed teenaged (with a two-syllable first name and a four-syllable last name) character from a Japanese multimedia franchise (that includes a game and an anime adaptation), in which whole plot centers around organizing a performing group in order to prevent the closure of a building that means the world to the brunette protagonist. While initially starting off the story as rather snobby and reluctant to join the brunette's group, they eventually joined and grew a soft spot for the group's colorful members. Despite seeming all cool and composed on the surface, they have some rather childish beliefs and behaviors that are mocked by the other characters, such as still believing in Santa Claus, and is well-known in the fandom for their "tsundere" personality. The character the fandom most commonly shipped with them is a character from the same group and of the same gender as them, who has a sharp tongue and wit, in spite of what their cutesy appearance and girly interests would suggest, and the two regularly spend their screentime bickering and exchanging banter with each other.
