when i was in italy, i was so sick for a majority of the trip where i couldnt keep anything down. we were going to mount Vesuvius and i was so tired of not being able to eat solids so i ate an apple and these weird chips that tasted like cherry tomatoes?? n i was feelin good and we went down this really windy road in our bus to get down from the mountain (our bus driver had to back up for some reason and hit this guy in one of those tiny smart cars but he just kept driving bc he didnt feel it) and i was doing alright like i wasnt feelin nauseous or anything and so we were headed towards some ruins of pompeii. were all checkin out the lil rooms and the stepping stones in the middle of the street and the little mosaics and paintings of sex positions and dick shaped stones, it was all fun. n then i started feeling really sick i dont know what it was but i was Feelin It but im too stubborn and dont say anything bc i feel like if i admit im sick im gonna actually be sick. so we start walking and this kid with us drinks from this rusty gross lookin drinking fountain and i was SO grossed out i started coughing and my teacher walked me all the way out from the ruins and into the main building and i was feeling really faint and a little delusional and were on our way to the bathrooms and we get in there and the lines out the door and all these preteen italian girls are talking so loud and my teacher just says “SHES GOTTA PUKE” in english and they all fucking scattered. they all kept their distance after i got out as if i was gonna blow it was so funny but a little sad. and i saw this little boy in a red track suit with a fucking chicken zipped up in his jacket with its head peaked out the neck and he was trying to sneak it into the ruins???? im still not entirely sure if that happened or if i was just seeing things but it seems entirely plausible
