Kaylan glared at the boy in front of her. Adrian had blocked her path right before she was entering the school.
You did realize what you had said is rather problematic to hear. If anyone else were to hear that they would think that you’re just over bearing.
I don’t care. You better stay away from Marinette! She doesn’t need you. You’re corrupting her. She’s not like our everyday ladybug anymore. It’s all your fault!
Kaylan looked coldly at him. He was getting more and more out of hand.
I wonder if it was the side effect of the miraculous.

I said no. Unless Marinette asks me to stay away from her, I’ll stay with her. Besides…….. Aren’t you little too naïve?
Kaylan smiled mockingly. Walking up to him, she smirked.
You say I’m corrupting her. But have you ever thought just how many time Marinette nearly became an akuma just because of you. Are you sure you’re not the one corrupting her?
Kaylan walked around him and left the seething model behind.

The day went without a hitch. Except when Lila tried to frame Kaylan with her ‘family heirloom’ only to be found in her own locker.

Marinette ran towards the said girl with worry written all over her face. Kaylan who was about to leave, smiled at the bluenette but it disappeared when she saw the person coming behind her. Taking two large steps she put her arm around the girl and pulled her closer before dragging her away.
Adrian gritted his teeth before turning away. He wanted to talk to the Marinette again. But he failed.
Once both girls were out of the vicinity, was when they stopped.
What’s going on? Why did you dragged me out so suddenly?
Adrien was there.
What?
Kaylan looked around and even looked at the shadows and high places before she opened her mouth.
I met Adrian in front of the school…..or more like, he approached me. He wanted me to stay away from you.
Wait? What? Why?

Marinette could feel the weight of those words. Putting her head in her hands she started going through all the memories she had since the liar came. Kaylan didn’t disturbed her but she looked around for a possible akuma.
After a while Marinette sighed audibly before looking up. She stood up and walked away. Kaylan watched her walking away before her eyes flashed a little.
Her lips hooked up before she stood up and leisurely walked down the familiar path.

3AM Paris
A loud boom shook the ground making Kaylan wake up abruptly. Running towards the window she took a peek on the falling tower. A sudden chill ran down her spine as soon as the tower fell. The three heroes ran to the scene with ladybug leading them.
Chat noir was nowhere to be found and Kaylan felt like giving him a curse. Whatever the akuma was, they were violent. Many houses fell apart. Kaylan put her hand on the railing before a blue light shimmered.
Core illusion.
Just as she finished the spell, she abruptly caught something in her hand. Opening her hand, her eyes widen as she recognized what was in her hand. A turtle like Kwami sat in her hand. Looking up the Kwami floated before putting the bracelet in her hand.
The guardian said to find you as soon as possible. The akuma is rather violent one and it will be difficult if there is not turtle to protect them, especially when the black cat isn’t here.
Nodding, she put on the bracelet before repeating her question.
My name is Wayzz, Kawami of protection, shell on for transformation. Shell-ter for shield and shell off to de-transform.
Understood. Wayzz, shell on!
The gown replaced by a skin tight spandex. The ankle boots were easy to run in and the shell like shield was strapped on her arm. Her hairs tied in a high ponytail.
Alright time to go.
Running out towards the scene, Kaylan hid and observed the akuma. The color was red, yellow and orange. He had four arms and pointy crystal cowlicks. As soon as he touches or rather punches something, it explodes.
Same with humans. Kaylan frowned, feeling her heart dropped. She knew akuma can be dangerous, but this was the first time she saw how dangerous they could be.
Python was standing in the shadows as well, Ryuu and ladybug were fighting or rather trying to fight. Looking at the spandex clad hands, she thought of something before running around.
Ladybug and Ryuu tried to attack the akuma but it was not easy when all of his attacks led to pure destruction. She had no idea what to do. As soon as the akuma alert rang, she pulled Wayzz and asked him to go look for Kaylan.
Forcing the bile down her throat she faced the akuma. Just as she thought that akuma was about to hit them point blank, a figure dropped on his back and forced him on the ground with their weight.
I thought there was no way you will be invincible. Looks like I was right.
The new turtle said before jumping away from the akuma. The said akuma got up, trying to hit the new turtle hero who just step sided. Looking at the pair, she nodded before joining.
Sorry for the delay, I was observing the situation. Call me emerald in the mask.
Thank god! I thought the Kwami couldn’t find you!
Ladybug sighed in relief. Before looking at the akuma getting ready for his attack, but before they could, the turtle shell like shield hit his in the stomach and threw his away before emerald caught it. Turning t the two she showed the ‘not impressed’ expression before gesturing them to follow her.
Getting away from the akuma they regrouped.
Why did you brought us here?
Ryuu couldn’t stop her and the tone came out rather rude. But emerald shook her head before gesturing them towards the akuma.
I think you need to see this clearly before attacking.
The trio looked at the akuma, frowning when they couldn’t find anything different. But then ladybug let out a soft gasp as if she just noticed it.
Those pointy cowlicks……they glow……..
Right before he’s about to attack and get dark after he had attacked.
Emerald finished her sentence.
Seven seconds. The time interval is seven seconds where a possible attack can be landed on him, before those cowlicks regain their color.
Ladybug looked around before calling to her lucky charm. A water bucket fell in her hands.
Wait? What am I supposed to do with this?
Kaylan looked at the bucket before turning to Ryuu.
You have lightening element.
The statement caught everyone’s attention. A smile stretched on her face. Ladybug looked around the area and saw an unoccupied area.
Emerald, you’re a genius.
The other two shared a glance before shrugging. They all ran to set up a trap.

The akuma (energy burst) was lured to the designated area. Ryuu and python were hiding in the dark. Ladybug ran away to her position while emerald was standing in front of the akuma.
As soon as he entered the range, emerald raised the shield.
Shell-ter!
The area was surrounded by the green energy barrier. The range was rather big with heroes and akuma in it. As soon as akuma realized that he was trapped her went directly to attack the turtle themed hero. His pointy cowlicks glowed.
Just as the akuma threw a punch, emerald caught it with her bare hands.
Omnivus!
The yellow energy started leaking out of the akuma and dissipated in the air. The akuma struggled to get out of the hold but he wasn’t able to get out as his energy was getting lower and lower making him weak. Just as his cowlick lose the color, emerald punched him and jumped back.
Ladybug quickly threw salt water on the akuma, and Ryuu turned the lightening dragon ability and hit the akuma. The said akuma with the sudden energy couldn’t stay stable and the crystal on his head shattered and came out a black butterfly.
No more evil doing for you akuma, time to de-evilize. Bye, bye little butterfly.
Ladybug threw the bucket in the air before they burst in a large amount of ladybugs and repaired all the destruction. Kaylan nodded to the team and left.
