Working on the bases for the primaris at the moment. They are the temple bases from @microarray udiogdynia. On top is the primed base. The next step โ a highlighting with Daler Rowney White Ink โ is missing in the picture. The second row shows base paints: 1) P3 Menoth White Highlight mixed with a tiny bit of Citadel Contrast Nazdreg Yellow and diluted 1:1 with Contrast Medium. 2) Army Painter Hydra Turquoise mixed 1:1 with Contrast Medium 3) pure Contrast Blood Angels Red The third row is after an oil wash with burned sienna which was immediately wiped away from the upper surfaces after it was applied. The bases looked good after the burned sienna wash but were not grim dark enough.
