So if the story went this way instead... Jackie's a gypsy girl who grew up in a circus, dancing and riding horses with her dad (Theo). Now we see her on her own, driving an old truck and visiting suspicious places offering men her body for money. The video follows her encounter with a mysterious man in black (Adam). Like in the original video, there are two parallel narratives, one is her carefree childhood days with her dad riding horses, fishing and hunting and dancing on fairs, the other is the sexual episode with one of the omnious strangers. The scenes mix up and switch. When she's seducing men she's dancing that gypsy dance again. When she's on top of a man she's as free as she's been with horses. At the "devil's dancing toe to toe" bridge, the man decides to give her much more money than firstly agreed upon, but she just stares at him stubbornly, spits at him and storms out not taking his mercy. There's a fashback to her mother giving her some money and gold jewellery saying goodbye for the last time before she left her family to run away with another man. When Jackie's speeding up her truck again, directionless and crying about what's her life become, the memories swell up and she's again in the field with the wind in her hair and her dad following behind in a horce race to the riverstream where they will camp next.
