practice art, havent drawn for a couple months? anyways. mouse as usual

-initial era: from like 2016-18 he was sort of a cookie cutter little shit rebel type fantroll and i played him getting beat up a lot. as well as another oc which has now fallen to the side. that both represented me getting my hands on rp as a concept and it wasnt selfbased but it was more of a "this is a lot of fun" to throw a character into the pits. repeatedly. over and over.

-2018-20 - Intermediate Era where he slightly changed. became a lot more passive. this was me i guess exploring the alternate sides to his possible story / lives. represented i guess aimlessness but portrayed in a very 'messy' way. still had his rebelliousness but remarkably passive yet seemed to inevitably get what he needed or wanted, which is unlike previous where i would just constantly push him further into the ground

-20-25 - i guess success but also Nothing Happening era, but i also revamped him a bit. at this point, his old plot had pivoted into his passiveness making him less rebellious and it opened up a side to him that i realised could make a much better plot beginning. i revamped him fully at this point and his plot tied in long term with a friend for the first time ever (IMPORTANT TO ME. i needed that forever.) this placed him in the position of someone raised for an empire role, and consistently placed in positions that got him further towards it, mixed with a touch of 'gifted kid' in the autism sense, which in my mind fit him better. the rebellious streak kicks in midway through when he realises how fucked up his own life is getting over and over, the robotic selves, the etc, and he uses the game as his escape from what he sees as inevitable death (that he has near missed many times... and been kept alive beyond what he thought was his death point)

but yeah. and he blames it on nobody except 'fate' which gave him that experience. but side point and then obviously he goes into a field that i think he would find cool as hell, but tainted by the fact he was always going to end up there (fate, raising to be the role, etc, his slight rebellion turning him from a "raised to fight" into a "raised to travel" type). in this era he bcomes intimately familiar with space and technology, in his previous eras he was remarkably unfamiliar with it.

sub era: roboticism - that was both a play on his death/revival long term shtick which has always existed, and been a fun theme for him to tackle + a rp tie in.

now in his current form his plot and story really has the feelings i associate with everyday life fairly commonly mentioned, which is the 'static nature' or unchanging world / every day is the same, and his latest plots are both his own being forced to move away from his wilful static position, and being placed straight into a brand new one that he cannot do anything about this time, where the balance is flipped. he kept himself trapped in a static situation of doing nothing (as an excuse for security) in a world where he could do many things, and now he doesn't want to be anymore, and wants risks and real life, but he is in a world that entirely consists of static nothings

obviously, i will eventually pull him back to a place where he can reach a balance and both get his novelty he craves so much and also a calm down to earth natured home life (HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN THIS WAY. my other ocs i had dont even do this. but tekras? that guy has no limits. if something is NEW. he is TRYING IT.). all of this is escapism, in a sense, his rebellious antics represent something i cant do much myself while his upbringing which he is both attached yet constantly leaving and returning to, is something that is like half and half, different but the same. there is unwritten trauma in there that he will never address. even to the faces of those he deems responsible (everyone except his paternal figure who he has a sort of 'i owe a lot 2 u' 'u saved my ass' complex with that he wont get over, while every other adult in his youth was in his mind "the killer". in a sense.)
