I am a big fan of this little shokudo! I came back because I was craving their ebi mayo: battered and fried shrimp tossed in a savory-sweet, mayo-based sauce (I know, I know; I promise it's good!). Theirs also comes with a few bites of fried okra :)

Shioyaki teishoku!
A week ago, I found a side of salmon for a really good price. I can't eat that much fresh fish in one go, so the answer is salted salmon! I make it with less salt and freeze it. It's very easy and economical. When I serve it, I use less salt in the other dishes to balance things out.
Grilled salted salmon
Homemade pickles - red onion, perilla leaf, and radish
Quick vegetable stirfry
Asari clam miso soup
Rice with broad beans
Iced mugicha barley tea
Some of the good meals I've had in Japan so far.

3. Tempura donburi in Yokohama
4. Raw shirasu don in Enoshima
